같이 먹는 나라: 밥, 회식, 그리고 누가 계산하는가 — Eating together: meals, 회식 and who pays. Lesson 7 of Real Korean Culture in the Haeyo Korean theme courses.

What you will be able to do

Understand why Koreans eat together and share dishes, and why eating alone (혼밥) is now normal too
Know who pays in each situation (선배 and 후배, friends, a professor, a club dinner) and how to thank, offer or split: 더치페이, 엔빵
Use the table manners that matter: waiting for the eldest, spoon and chopsticks, refills, and leaving 2차 politely
Offer with -(으)ㄹ게요 and ask or choose with -(으)ㄹ래요: 제가 살게요, 2차 갈래요?
